Reminds of a similar situation back in 2000 when the Council of PR Firms hired an outside consultant who produced a comprehensive whitepaper on how the Internet would change communications forever, and that PR firms (especially agencies) would have to adapt their leadership or die. Well they really haven't adapted...and they haven't yet died.

What the consultant failed to recognize is that agencies in PR don't "lead"...they follow.
